After having to reinstall Outlook 2003 and importing my contacts, each one
has a reminder set, and I cannot remove it. have checked flags etc, every
time I start Outlook I get all these reminders. Using Dismiss all fails, and
selecting each one and setting reminder flag to completed also does not work.
Each time i try to get rid of reminders they go until th next startup.

Why would you import Contacts? Were they in some other file format?
Have you tried starting Outlook with the cleanreminders switch?

I had to do a reinstall and existing contacts didn't come through properly so
exported from my other PC.

All you need to do is copy the PST from the old PC and open it in your
current Outlook.  No import needed (or desired).
