Contacts not showing up when creating new email

I'm using Outlook 2003.  My contact folder is displaying correctly, (last
name, first name) but when I try to create email the order is reversed (first
name, last name).  How can this be corrected?

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there
