Hi

I use outlook 2002- I keep getting suggestions to complete the email
address, which I am very grateful for and have been using. Recently I
searched in my address book and found that this was empty. An internet
search indicated that these addresses are probably stored in some .nk2
cache file.

Now is there a way to get these addresses from the cache into my
outlook address book?

You would need a third party utility to convert your NK2 file into a format
that you could import into your Contacts Folder (Outlook does not use an
address book).
