Master Category List - delete question

Working with Outlook 2003.

I deleted category from the Master list but its still showing up in Contacts
folder (I am viewing my contacts as a phone list). How do I remove this
deleted category from all contacts previously assigned to this category at
one time?

Right-click those contacts, then choose Categories.

Thanks! It work like a charm - I'm becoming an expert at Outlook Contacts
