Actually I have two problems:

1. Editing email addresses in my address book.

2. How do I copy information in the contact file to my address book.  Can I
move my entire contact file to my address book?  How?

Actually you have two misunderstandings.

1. Outlook has no address book. The address book view is simply a view of
your Contacts Folder. It should never be used for any data entry or editing.

2. Accordingly, the Address Book view can only show information that resides
in your Contacts Folder(s). Apparently you have not yet configured it to do
so. Method depends on your version which you neglected to post. Never post
questions without posting your version.
