Outlook 2003, Windows 2003 SBS with Exchange Server 2003.
Exchange server only used for calendar and contact sharing.

All e-mail goes through ISP POP & SMTP servers.

Everything works fine EXCEPT:
when attempting to Forward as vCard, or just selecting a contact and
selecting Forward the resulting e-mail goes into the Exchange server,
and NOT to the ISP SMTP server.

As a result, we can't send/forward vCards.

Any ideas?

What happens if you use a new message, insert item, select the contact, and
then send?

Milly,

I'm not on-site right now, but will try your suggestion and report back
today.
Thanks for the input!

Milly,

Was able to send vcards with the new message, insert, select & mail
method.

However, back to the original problem - do you have any idea how we can
fix it.
Users at other locations have no problem with "Forward as vcf", which
is certainly more gracefull.

Thanks for your suggestion, we'll use it until we can fix the problem!

False alarm!

The info sent with the new message, insert, select contact & mail
arrived as a winmail1.dat file that was unreadable.  It was a MAPI 1.0
embedded message.

The only thing that works for us is click on a contact, save to desktop
as a vcf file then send it as an attachment.

Still looking for a cure.

Anyone have any ideas?
