The seach facility will not work in "Contacts", please advise

The search facility does not work in Contacts. I have tried to repair and
reload but I get the same outcome.

Any ideas on how to activate this facility please.

You have provided no information.
Clarify to which "search facility" you are referring.
Post your Outlook version and information store.
Confirm you have configured the Outlook Address Book Service correctly.
What is "repair and reload?"
