My old computer died but the hard drive is removed & ok & I can access it
thru a usb port.
I'd like to move all my e-mails & address book to the new computer.
I've been reading posts & trying to understand but am really lost.
Also, I might have screwed something up. I have a .pst file in C\documents
and settings\%user%\application data\microsoft\outlook
and...
in C\documents and settings\%user%\local settings\application
data\microsoft\outlook
Thanks

I forgot to mention that I used Outlook Express on the old and am using
Outlook on the new computer.

You need to configure Outlook Express on the new and import the OE messages
and contacts from the old to the new OE. Then you'll be able to transfer
the data to OL on the new machine my exporting the messages to Outlook using
Outlook Express and importing the contacts from Outlook Express using
Outlook.
