HELP PLEASE - 12 Jul 2006 00:04 GMT
I was trying to save my email addresses to my contacts folder, somehow or
another I have deleted (or that is what the computer guys at work said) the
information that stores the autocomplete addresses. I had three guys come in
and no one knew what or how I did what I did. I did go to a few different
pages by clicking here and there but I never hit a delete button. And my pst
file now shows 1Kb(or whatever it is, i know nothing about computers) instead
of a higher number. The guys said I must have somehow deleted the info or
overridden the old info. PLEASE help me find the problem. I have years of
email addresses on there that I need at work. Any advice is wonderful! thanks

Advice:
1. Post a clear an accurate description of the steps that lead up to your
problem.
2. Post a clear and accurate description of what you mean by "trying to save
my email addresses to my Contacts Folder." That makes no sense. Email
addresses do not exist in Outlook unless you have stored them in a Contacts
Folder.
3. Realize that the autocompletion cache has nothing to do with your
Contacts. You create Contacts in your Contacts Folder.
4. Post your Outlook version every single time you post a question.
