Just started using Outlook.  When I try to send an email to anyone on my
contacts list, I get the following information box:

"The Operation failed.  An object could not be found."

An 'OK' button is the only possible response and the email doesn't get sent.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

We would need at least some information.
Start with your Outlook version. Include how you installed Outlook, how you
created your Outlook data file, and how you created your Contacts records.
