How do I delete email adress that appears in the smart tag window

When starting to write an email adress a smart tag window appears with all
contacts that start with the same letter. How do I delete some of the
adresses that appear in that window

That's called autocompletion.  Use the arrow keys to go down to the one you
don't want and click the delete button.  Avoid using the mouse to do this.
