share outlook contacts on p2p network

is there a way of sharing outlook contacts on a small office newtork(has a
linux server only)
can one pc act as server if a folder is shared?
or do you have to have Windows server to do this ??

Hi viv,

for sharing solutions in a p2p network have a look on this site.

Some of this tools support this way. One of the workstation will be used as
"server" and the other machines (who get an access to the Outlook items on
this "Server") are the clients.

Some of them are real time sharing solutions, other solutions are
synchronization tools, based on email synchronization.

Most of them don´t need a Windows server.
