Email a contact directly from the address book in OL2003?

When I search for a contact in OL2003 address book I would like to click on a
link to automatically send an email to the contact instead of having to copy
the email address and then paste it in to an email message.  Is there a way
to do this in OL 2003?

I guess you didn't notice the New Message button -- the rightmost one in the Address Book dialog?

That was an easy fix.  Thanks!

While I have you, can you tell me how to set up my contact list that I call
up while in a message by clicking on the icon to the left of the address
field so that it sorts by last name rather than first name?  I file new
contacts as last, first but they still appear in the contact list as first
last.

Also easy and posted here almost daily:
Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there

Not quite that easy.  My sort order is already files as: last, first yet the
contacts show up first then last name.

Unclear post. "Last, first" is not even an option. Your options are First,
Last or File As...
Explain what you mean.
Restart Outlook.

I guess this was another easy fix.  I had changed to "file as Smith, John"
but did not restart Outlook.  Restarting OL fixed the problem!

Thanks Russ! :)
