Through my ignorance, I've managed to collect two pst folders. I opened the
second by bringing into the Folder List. I'd like to combine these then
archive it. Im started by merely highlighting the contents of the 2nd then
draging it into the first. Things moved smoothly. But now I'm looking at
those calendar and contact folders. How do I combine these folders. The 2nd
pst - and oldest - actually has two calendars, one in a subfolder which I'd
like to keep that way. I assume I can simply move that to the 1st pst
calendar folder as a subfolder... or can I?

Unclear question. If you moved the contents of a Contacts into another, you
do not still have 2 Contact Folders do you?
You can copy an entire calendar folder from one PST to another if you want
to keep them separate. Do you want to keep them separate or not?

Let me try again, Russ. I copied two different pst folders to a 2nd machine
then opened one of them that I thought was the one I was using on my main
machine; it wasn't. Only that folder and its hierarchies was displayed in
the Folder List. I then opened the 2nd pst using File/Open/pst and it
appeared in the Folder List beneath the 1st. This is when I realized I was
more ignorant about pst's than I thought; I STILL didn't have the last pst I
had been using for months. So I found it on the 1st machine, loaded it to
the 2nd (this was my 3rd pst now) , closed the 1st pst and opened the 3rd.
pst file. I've now got the files I want ( the 2nd  and 3rd ) and they're
listed one right after another in the Folder Listing section of Outlook. The
first  Personal Folders listing (we'll call "A") contains that 2nd pst and
the second Personal Folders file (we'll call "B") is the one my main machine
was using.

I've dragged the messages and subfolders I want from B to A but now I need
to get the  Contacts and Calendar of B into A. That's were I need the help.
