Not an Outlook question then. It's an Exchange question. Outlook creates
DL's using Contacts Folders.

Steve, it's not clear whether you're doing this in the Address Book dialog or in the main Outlook window. Ideally, you be in the main Outlook window.
I tried duplicating your steps, though, and can't reproduce the problem.

Hi I have tried this from the main outlook window and also from the contacts
window both with the same result. I have tried adding them from the GAL and
as they were new contacts ie. entering the names and email address manualy
always the same result. Outlook doesn't seem to have any other problems.. As
I said on other machines, no problem but this one is a mystery

If only one machine is having the problem, the normal troubleshooting step is to run Help | Detect and Repair.
