Include journal entries in contact repor - 28 Jul 2006 10:24 GMT
I have OUTLOOK 2002 which permits me to Link items or files to an individual
contact.   However, I cannot figure out how to view which files or items are
linked to the contact.   I thought I could run the Activites All search and
see a listing of all linked items or files.   This shows emails, and phone
calls that were exchanged with the contact but not the linked files.
Any suggestons as to how to vies these linked files for a contact?

Linked files would be in the Journal folder. Did you check there to see if any entries are present that are linked to the particular contact?

Sue,
What I want to see is the documents that I linked to an individual contact.
I thought I would be able to see them when I use the "Activities" tab for
"All Items", but I don't see anything but E-mails, Phonecalls, Tasks,
Upcoming Appointments.  Do you mean check the combined "Journal" folder that
shows all actvitives?   I don't want to see all activities I have had
interactions with....just the ones for a particular contact.   And then I
would like to select all the items that display under Activites/All Items
(hopefully including the listed linked documents) and print the list.

Any suggestions?

The Journal folder is where Outlook stores information about linked documents. That's why I suggested that, given your symptoms, you need to look there to see if there are any entries related to documents at all in the first place.
