I need to import multiple vcards in to Outlook.  Can I do this as a batch
process rather than one at a time?

You need a 3rd party product to accomplish that. One option can be seen
here:
http://vcard4outlook.4team.biz/?page=http://www.outlook4team.com/download.asp?catID=3
(***link provided for info purposes only - have no direct experience with
this product)

Alternatively - do a Google search on "Outlook import Vcards" (or any
variation thereof) and you'll see a list of other possible options.

Try vCard Converter from MAPILab Toolbox
(http://www.mapilab.com/outlook/toolbox/). Add-in can import (export modes
also supported) data from the vCard format files into your address book or
contacts and process a great number of contacts simultaneously. All
conversion settings belong to rules, which you can use in appropriate
situations.
