How do I delete autofill contact address when sending email

When sending an email to someone I have sent in the past - and I start typing
it - how do I delete those ? Please help

Select the one you don't want by using the arrow keys to select it, then
press Delete.

Brian's method works very well for onsey twosey type deletions. However, if
you want to spend $39 you can purchase a commercial editor at
www.ingressor.com.
