The user's computer freezes and has to be shutdown when
adding a message recipient from his Contacts.  This does
not occur when adding recipients from the Global Address
book.  This also only happens sporadically.  Any ideas why
this would occur?

I have one user with the exact same problem.

He starts a message, clicks on the "To:" button, selects his Contacts, then as he scrolls through the list of Contacts the computer freezes up and Outlook crashes.

This is the first time I've found someone else with this issue.  Maybe more are going to be following...  Do you keep your Office Critical Updates current?  We do - I'm wondering that that could be part of the problem.

Just started having that same problem with one of my
users...it occurs on ANY PC with Win2000 I load his
profile on...yet a Win98 PC with his profile does NOT have
that problem! All are using Outlook 2000....
If anyone finds a fix, I would love to hear it...
I can be reached at c b o o n e AT l b i m e d i a . c o m
(take out the spaces and correct the format of course ;).

Thanks!
Chris
