How do you get around the too many recipients notice; not spam?

I am not spamming anyone.  I'm sending out an invitation.  Why am I getting
the "Too many recipients" error message, and how do I get around this.

It's probably coming from your ISP's mail server. You need to split the list
up or use a mail merge tool:
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail.htm#massmail
