What I am trying to do is combine two distribution lists without having to
retype or enter the names.  If I combine two distribution lists into one new
list, everything I do to the new list affects the original distribution list.
It is also not possible to copy and paste names from one list to another.
If this dream is made a reality it would also be helpful to have the program
automatically delete a duplicate.  This way if a person is on both lists they
will not receive duplicate emails.  I am using Windows XP Professional.

Just include one of the lists inside the other.  You can next DLs.

They wouldn't receive duplicates anyway.  Since Outlook must expand lists
prior to sending, it can check to see if the same address is listed more
than once.  If it is, it is used once only.  You can prove this to yourself,
if you'd like.  Create a list that includes you own address threee times and
send a message using that list.  You'll get a single message.

Thank you Brian.  I didn't realize only one copy would be sent even if the
name was duplicated.  That was my biggest issue.  Thanks so much.

That should have said "you can nest DLs".
