MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / August 2006Contacts with new message
I have a few users that when they create a new message and click on TO: they see exchange contacts, but not their personal contacts. They worked before and it is only a few users that do not work now. Please help me fix this problem. Thanks, Brian Tools | Address Book, then Tools | Options. I tried your solution, but when I click the To button I can not find any of my personal contacts from my contact list on Outlook 2003. SignatureThanks for your help! Now that you're in the contacts section, go to the upper left part where it says Contacts ("my contacts" is right under there). Right click the contacts icon that you want to be added to address book and go to properties. Click the outlook address book tab, and click the check box that says "show this folder as an e-mail address book". The problme is the Outlook Address Book Contacts do not show up there. they do show up if you are in contacts but not in the Inbox. > Tools | Address Book, then Tools | Options. Right-click your Contacts folder, choose Properties, click the Outlook Address Book tab, and check the box labeled "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book". Click Close. SignatureBrian Tillman This box is grey and not checked. I can not check it.
