This would be a great new feature. Many people I know rely on the
autocomplete addresses in Outlook and don't take the time to create contacts
for people they communicate with often. This can cause a problem when a hard
drive crashes and I can't recover default.nk2 file. When contacts are created
they are stored in Exchange and so are not as volitle as the autocomplete
items.

There is rarely a good technological solution to a behavioral issue.
