Hello,

When I forward contact information (by going through Actions/Forward) the
person that is receiving it got it in jpg format.  How would that happen?

What version of Outlook?  What did you click before clicking
Actions>Forward?  In what folder where you when you clicked?

I have version 2003.  I was in my contacts folder, opened up one of my
contact cards, clicked on Actions, clicked on Forward, typed in the
recipients address and then clicked on send.

I also have a scanner for business cards and it loads my contact information
into outlook and creates a jpg picture of the card.  When I forward the
contact card shouldn't the jpg picture go with it?

That should work.  It does for me.  What is your deault message format?  Try
explicitly specifying another message format.  Try forwarding it as a vCard.

I doubt it.
