Contact List

I have several contacts entered in OUTLOOK.  I do not use Outlook for email
purposes, but only to store contact info.  I have 30 names entered.  However,
I noticed when I used MS Word to print envelops and I clicked on the contact
icon within the Envelope/Label option, only 8 names appear.  The same list
appears if I were in Outlook and I had a contact opened.  The "book" (contact
icon) located at the end of the email entry line displays this same list.

Why aren't the other 22 names showing up.  I use Office XP.

Thanks,
Les

You tell us.
State how you configured your Contacts Folder and Outlook Address Book.
State what is different between the Contacts that appear and those that do
not.

As for the configured issue, I did not change anything during install that I
am aware of.  I clicked on properties for the contact folder and did not
notice anything that caught my eye as being incorrect.

As for the difference between those that are listed vs not listed, there is
none.  Diferrent categories exist for the ones listed.

You have left out far too much information to permit any troubleshooting. We
don't even know your Outlook and Word version.
As I read between the lines of your post, you said you "didn't change
anything during the install..." So are we to guess that you did an in place
install of your current version over an older version and that your problem
started then? That should have been stated at the outset.
Post a clear description of the steps that caused your problem and do not
expect us to read your mind. All I can tell you at this point is that you
have a corrupt Outlook Address Book Service. Create a new profile from
scratch.
