How do I setup an excel file to import into outlook contacts

I have large address books in excel and I want to import them to outlook, but
I am not sure how to go about formating the excel document so that i can
import them into outlook

Each address entry needs to be on its own row. Use the Insert | Name command to create a named range that includes all the data and a row of column headings with the field names. Save the file.
