Have you configured an address service for this new installation? If so,
what and how?
Are you R clicking this address in an open message or the Preview Pane?

I need to re-open this subject because I am experiencing the same situation.
We run classes where we send out a mass email to all the students in our
classes with all the students' email addresses listed in the "To:" field.
In the past, we've given them these instructions to have them build their
contacts list easily:
Aloha,
The following instructions will assist you in adding each student's email
address to your contact list. You will notice that you may get 2-3 copies of
this message, because we've included your individual student account and the
Seminar and Class 2006 distribution lists. You may use any address depending
on your needs.
1. Double click on this e-mail to open it fully in a separate window.
2. Click on one of the addresses in the To: area. This will highlight the
address.
3. Click Edit, then click Select All.
4. Click Tools, click Add to Address Book, then click Everyone on To List.
5. Click the OK button. Continue clicking the OK button until all names and
addresses are added to your Contacts/Address Book.
This class session, we found that this feature just disappeared. We only get
the normal "Cut, Copy, Paste, Clear, Select All" menu items and no longer get
the "Add to Address Book..." item.
Any idea why it would disappear? These are normally configured laptops with
WinXP, Office 2003 Pro in stand-alone configurations. No exchange, address
services, and users are using Outlook Express (NOT Outlook).
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

There is no such command as "Add to Address Book..."
Give more a more accurate description of what you are doing. You should
never add more than one address at a time with this method.

Russ, I find your answer both rude and impertinent. If you had bothered to
read my posting, I stated that we are using Outlook Express. For your
information, this app does indeed have the command, "Add to Address Book..."
after R-clicking an address in an opened email.
I realize that this is an Outlook forum (as opposed to a Outlook Express)
but I was hoping someone knowledgeable about both Outlook and OE might be
able to tell me the differences and why we are no longer getting this command
available to us.
As to the reply about "..never add more than one address at a time with this
method." Why not? This is a very easy way to have a large group of users fill
their contacts list for a class without having to individually enter in each
email address (and experience the attendant typos and transscription errors).
This method, and the included instructions, has been used often and with no
problems up until this class session.
If there is anyone that has seen this problem or know why it has popped up I
would appreciate the help.

You're the one who knowingly posted in the wrong group and wasted both my
time and yours. Not until the end of the post did you mention OE and I never
saw it.
Next time, post in the right group and put the most relevant information at
the beginning of your post, not the end.
