I can link a Contact record (business or standard) to a task. I can add
fields from the contact record but only the contact name is actually
displayed. What I want to do is create a task that says, "Call Joe," then
have the phone number displayed in the task list. Is there a way to have the
other fields displayed?

I am using a stand-alone PC - i.e not Exchange Server.

Thanks!
Randy

Not without writing Outlook VBA code to pull the information out of the contact record and add it to the task record.
