I am trying to copy my contacts from one mobile device to another but the
activesync program doesn't work properly.  Is ther a way for me to just
copy/paste the specific file where my contacts are saved on my mobile device
of origin?

I use a mobile device to sync two PCs all the time.  What doesn't work?  (By
the way, news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync is
the appropriate group for this discussion.  I've set the followup to that
group.

I don't believe so.  Contacts on a mobile device are not stored in a fashion
that is file-compatible with how Outlook stores contacts.
