In Outlook 2003, Contact listings, I was looking for a contact that I had
filed previously. It do not appear but when I used the "Find" option, the
contact was displayed. When I returned to the Contact listings in Outlook,
it still was not on the contact list (used the Phone listing). Russ, I hope
this is adequate info. I have confired the Contact folder is supposed to
reference the Address Book.

The other way around. The Address Book is a view of those entries in your
Contacts folders for which you've defined electronic addresses.

I'm still not following what you're doing. Are you using the Phone List view
of your Contacts Folder to conduct the search? If Find returns a Contact not
in the current view, it must be pulling from another folder. Use Folder List
view to see how many Contact Folders are in your profile.
