I have two user profiles, lets call them work and home.  I would like to
have all my contact information availalble in both profiles.

Here is an example.  I add Jane smith to my contacts when I am using my home
profile, and the next day at work I'd like to be able to send her an email
using my work profile.

Is there an easy way to have the profiles share a contacts file or do i just
have to do an export every week and then update the work profile by
importing from that exported file.

thanks.

You can reference the PST of one profile in the other profile as well.
Since you can't have more than one profile open at any one time, there
should be no conflict for the PST.

With Outlook open in one profile, click FIle>Open>Outlook Data File and
browse to the other profile's PST.

Hi Actor of All Trades,

How to share Outlook on one PC:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/olshare1.htm

You could also create a new PST file (file/new/Personal Folder), give this
PST file the name "Shared Contacts" and add this PST file in both profile.

Now you can move or copy the contacts from your Personal Contact folder into
the "shared contact" folder.

After you see this PST file in both profiles you can add this contact folder
as "Outlook Addressbook".

Click on this contact folder/right mouseclick/Outlook Addressbook/ set the
flag for "Show this folder as Outlook Addressbook".

If you want to make this new Contact folder as your default Outlook
Addressbook go in the Outlook Menu to:

"Tools/Addressbook/Tools/Options" and select the "shared contacts" as your
"default" contact folder.

take a look at this one:

It can also be used on one PC - just have to be installed on both
profiles  - everything is possible and not too complicated:
