When I type any contact name into this field, I get the following message:
"Outlook could not find the requested contact".  Every name I have tried I
see in my contacts, but Outlook is not recognizing it??

State Outlook version.
State what information store you are using.
State how you configured the Outlook Address Book.

Outlook 2003 SP2
do not know what information store is??
I did not configure the address book, because with this Outlook profile I
did not set up an email account

Thank you for your time!

Well no wonder. Search relies on your mail transport and address book
service. You must have both to be able to conduct searches.
