Friend had change of email address - I deleted the old address and replaced
it with the new address. I cannot see the old one anywhere, but when I use
the distribution list she's on, the old address always pops up and bounces. I
cannot see the old address on either my distribution list or in the general
contact list.

Perhaps the old DL is in the autocompletion name cache.  What version of
Outlook are you using?

Try adding the DL to the To field again and pressing CTRL-K before leaving
the To field to force a reresolution of the DL.
