Outlook 2003 (SP2). Yes. Now where to?
You may have to remove and reinstall the Outlook Address Book service, especially if this was an upgrade from Outlook 2000 IMO.
Tools->Options->Mail Setup->Accounts->Directories->View or Change. Select the Address Book service and click remove. Back up one step and re-install it. Close and restart Outlook.

Thanks Milly, I've tried this and unfortunately it did not help. I'll keep
trying to find an answer :-)
