Dear Outlook Experts.
I have a question concerning the WebPage field on a custom form for
contacts.
The form contains the WebPage field on a multi-page control (2 pages:
company and private).
When the FileAs field contains a value and a user then toggles twice
between company and private, Outlook crashes and has to be restarted.
When I replace the default field for the webpage by a simple textbox
and connect it to the webpage field afterwards, the error does not
occur. But unfortunately, that textbox then doesn't support the nice
hyperlink features anymore (although it adds "http://" automatically)!
Does anyone know what causes the problem and how to fix it? I'd really
prefer to use the default field (from the field list) because of the
hyperlink features.

What do you mean by "toggles twice between company and private"?
What version of Outlook?
FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for Outlook forms issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public
.outlook.program_forms

I mean: The user sees the company tab, clicks on the private tab and then
clicks back to the company tab of the multipage control. Then Outlook
needs to restart and wants to send an error-notification to Microsoft.

Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 SP2 (11.8010.8036)

Thanks for the info, but I was hoping that this problem could be solved
without to "program". Or does "program" not necessarily mean "code"?
