Outlook 2003

When I search my contacts with 'Look for:' It will find some contacts but
not others.
Even when I can see a name in the contact list, the Find facility doesn't
find it.

This only happens with some contacts. It will find others. I have not been
able to detect a pattern in the software's decision making.

Well there must be some pattern. Keep looking. We can't find it for you. The
search functions do no function randomly. This usually means you have
Contacts stored in in a location that is not connected to the Outlook
Address Book Service.
