Outlook 2004- where is counter for contact number of address?

In Outlook 2000 they had a counter for number of addresses in both the total
and in distribution lists. How can I easily find out how many addresses are
located in each place - Address Book-totally and each individula distribution
list.

Assuming you actually meant Outlook 2003, you can't. For some reason, the
removed the status bar that used to display the counts.
