I'm looking for a way to copy selected individual contacts to a newly
created Contacts subfolder.  Here's what I'm trying to accomplish.

I have an online service to which I can upload my mailing list.  I can do
that right from OL either by selecting individual contacts (time-consuming
to control-click each entry) or by uploading a contact folder wholesale.  I
don't want to upload my entire contacts folder, only certain pre-selected
ones.

I already have an OL distribution list that contains the desired subset of
contacts.  I can't upload the distribution list as such, because the online
service can't drill down through the "list" aspect to get to the individual
contacts inside.  If I can get those individual contacts over to the new
Contacts subfolder, I can simply import that entire subfolder.

If I open up the distribution list, and go to File|Copy to Folder, and copy
it to the subfolder, it copies there _as a distribution list_, not as
individual contacts.  Thus, importing that subfolder online won' work (for
the reason already stated).

How can I get the individual contacts over to the subfolder?

Thanks.
