MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / November 2006I do not see a "import and export" file option in Outlook
I want to import contacts from an Excel File, Outlook help indicates I should be able to select "import and export" as an option from the File pull down menu - but I have no such option in my pull down....help! Look on the main Outlook menu, not the menu in the address book. Have you used the View | TOolbars | Customize dialog to reset the menus? Got it - openned "tools", then "Customize" selected "Commands" tab, and in the File category found "Import and Export" and selected. Don't know why this wasn't in the first place. But this worked. You go! I had the same trouble -- got all the same unhelpful advice, and your post allowed me to fix the problem.
