Cannot open address in New/Forwarded/reply Message window

When I try to select the address from any message window in outlook 2003 (the
address book usually pops up) but recently it does not respond and the both
the mail and the outlook window freezes. I use the ctrl alt and delete
command to end the new/forwarded mail task and it ends the task and a the
SELECT NAMES appears at the TASKBAR but I am not able to openit.

Your post is not clear. Clarify the steps that produce this problem. Clarify
what steps caused Outlook to stop functioning as it should (i.e., the ones
just before "recently"). Include any error messages or messages in Event
Viewer.
