My company was just acquired and my laptop re-imaged. In the move I
lost the ability to have Outlook contacts automatically format the
phone number field (US only). Previouly I could enter 1234567890 and
it would automatically convert to (123) 456-7890 on exiting the field.
Can anyone help?

Please check your settings in the systemsettings in the applet
"Telephone- and Modemoptions".

in the control panel you need to set the modem properties to use your area
code. if you add a phone # to a contact, it should pop this dialog up
automatically.
