I have my excel file set up and have a translator loaded but it tells me that
I cannot use the file. I am trying to name the ranges and its not letting me
do anything. How do I get it to name the ranges so I can import the data in
my contact list?

Since your prime objective is to import your data - just save the worksheet
as a CSV file and import that file - a lot less aggravating if your not
comfortable with Named Ranges.

Quick process to add a NR

1 - Open Worksheet
2 - Highlight all rows/columns you want to import starting with the first
row (which should have your column headings <field names>)
3 - From menu bar  --Insert --> Name --> Define - enter a name
4 - Save worksheet and import the workshhet it in Outlook using the name you
just entered if your asked to make a choice
