Judy;
Thanks for your feedback.
To your question - yes I can see my mailbox and I used it w.o. problem.
My problem is that I use IMAP. All my Emails are not on my machine -
basically the are external and I work via internet with it.
Contact and calender are safed on my machine.
After my hard drive crashed I can not find this .vcf and .vcs files.
Question number one: where are they?
Question number two: are these file maybe renamed and somewhere hidden in a
.pst file?
Thanks for your help

Outlook doesn't use .vcf and .vcs files to store calendar and contact data.
It uses the Calendar and Contacts folders, which are in a Personal Folders
file (PST), the location of which is, by default (although you can store it
anywhere), %UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
File>Data File Management will show you what PSTs you have open.
