If its possible, How can I show the number of contacts in a given
outlook 2003 distribution list?

You can't. The status bar was removed from DL's in Outlook 2003. Don't ask
me why. I think it was just another reminder that Microsoft never really
intended us to use DL's.

I found an add on from sperry, Distribution List Manager

It looks like it will do it.

Just wanted to make sure it was not an option built in.
