Hi, I am having computer problems and have to reinstall my operating system.  
Before doing so, i am backing up all my files - however, could you please
tell me where my contacts, calendar etc is normally located, so that I can
make a copy of that too.   it will save me so much time later on.   Any
advice on better ways to do this would be most welcomed.   When I transferred
from an old pc to this new one, i originally exported my contacts to an excel
file, but it seems to drop some important information, such as the email
address!   someone then showed me where the whole contacts and calendar file
is stored and we simply made a copy of that and used that instead.   Hope to
hear from you soon!

The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
