how do I get contacts and mail to see each other?

I have a new computer with outlook installed.  My mail file cannot access my
contacts file. I can (and have to) open contacts and copy and paste email
adress.

You'll need to post more clearly. Your post makes no sense. What is a mail
file?

it seems that he don´t get the "Outlook Addressbook" if you click on the
"To" field, right?
