When attempting to save contact details from an email into the "contacts"
address book, outlook becomes partially inactive and I can no longer save any
data or open new emails. I often need to restart the computer to regain all
outlook functions. What do I need to do to fix this?

What did you do to break it?
What version of Outlook are you using?
How are you "attempting to save contact details from an email into the
"contacts"
address book?"
