MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / December 2006In Outlook 2007 only 223 of my 509 Contacts show up - why?
How can I display all 509 Contacts in Outlook 2007? You neglected to tell us to what view you are referring and how you configured that view. How could anyone answer you? I am using Detailed Address Card view - but I get the same number of Contacts in any of the standard views. Oddly, when I clear the offline items then send/receive the folder I can see it count up to 509 in the status bar, but then it reverts to 223 items immediately upon completion of send/receive. Our data resides in an Exchange 2003 server. If I run two laptops side by side, the Outlook 2003 client shows 509 Contacts - the Outlook 2007 client shows 223 Contacts. I made no changes to the views - on either client. By the way, thanks for your help on this - it really has me baffled. I saw no similar reports during the beta. Somone more familiar with Exchange may have other ideas. Since you had existing data, you could have an existing view with a filter. I'd suggest you look at the view properties.
