Sort order in Address Book

I know this question has been asked and answered- probably many times. In
Contacts the format is last name, first name. OK. The address book (using the
Contact folder) shows first name, last name. Is there a way to make it show
last name, first name without changing each address display name? There was a
similar Q&A on 12/15 but it wasn't exactly the same thing since the solution
didn't work. Thanks

Control Panel->Mail Icon->Accounts->Directories->View or Change->Change.  Set your sort order from one of the two choices presented.  Close and restart Outlook for the change to take effect.
