How can I have only Contacts to appear when I open Outlook?

When I open Outlook I get a screen with three panels:  MAIL, INBOX, and a
blank.
I just want outlook to open with one panel CONTACTS.  Just like it did with
the earlier version of Office.  Now I must click on GO and then  CONTACTS -
ctrl 3.

What version are you using?

Which folder are you set to open in? Tools | Options | Other tab | Advanced
Options | start up in this folder.....
